Saponin,
Absorbed as Compound K & F1
More than 90% of ginseng saponins are large molecular saponins such as Rb1, Re, Rg1.
Surprisingly, the absorption rate of such large saponin is only 1%. (Akao, 1988)
Since the 1980s, absorption studies of ginseng have been carried out mainly in Japan and Germany, and it is surprising that Diol Saponins such as Rb1, which is the main saponin of ginseng, are absorbed when they are decomposed by intestinal bacteria and converted into Compound K and F1 which are Low Molecule Saponins. (Akao, 1998)

Low Molecule Saponin's Absorption
is 75 times higher.
Below is the results of the absorption studies of Low Molecule Saponin that is CK.
(J Ethnopharmacol. 2012 Jan 31)
Twenty-four healthy adults were divided into two groups.
The blue graph group had drunk red ginseng concentrate containing 20 mg of compound k.
The black graph group took 3 days dose of red ginseng concentrate (ginsenoside 50mg) at one time.

Plasma concentration of CK

The maximum Compound K concentration in blood on the black group is only about 10 ng.
The maximum Compound K concentration in the blue group was 300 ng,
It shows the blood concentration difference between them is 75 times.
This shows that it is difficult for normal saponin to be converted into a Compound K in the intestine and absorbed into the body.
Therefore, it is important to maximize the red ginseng efficacy by taking the product already converted into Compound K, and many ginseng scientific papers emphasize this.
Saponin's Balance is
Important
There are TWO Types of Saponin, that is Diol and Trol.
Their Effects are different.
Diol has Yin (陰) effect and Triol has Yang (陽).
Therefore, The Balance between Saponin's is Very Important.
Our Technology meets all these factors for the first time in the world.
